Tom Rourke

Award winning director, animator and motion graphics designer based in London.

Along with many other projects, Tom has made comedy animations for the BBC, directed a music video for The Wombats, and designed the graphics and animations for all 30 episodes of BBC 2’s game show ‘Beat The Brain’. Recently he has directed and animated films for Bill Gates and Netflix as well working on ads for Nespresso and Canon.

He was the in-house senior animator at ‘I Fucking Love Science’ for 5 years and those videos have, to date, received over 63 millions views.

His film ‘The Penguin Who Couldn’t Swim’, made with the BFI and Wingspan Productions, was broadcast on BBC 4 in 2018 and is available to watch on the BFIplayer.

He currently works at ITV as a motion graphics designer and animator
